Day 100 +1 - A long term strategy

 Day 100 +1 - A long term strategy

Saw my transplant doc yesterday. Officially passed the 100 day post-hospital transplant mark. What does that mean? It means I don't have to have Gary-sitters any longer. Doc P also had me reduce my last immunosuppressant by 1/3, and if no complications, I'll reduce it another 1/3 to 2 pills a day versus the original 8 pills a day. If everything goes smoothly, then I understand I'll get to go off them completely in a month.

It also means I move into watching for acute GVHD signs to chronic GVHD signs. Please pray to that end - that no chronic signs come up down the road, no going back on immuno's and no "refresher" course of donor stem cells. Last report was that my bone marrow is 100% donor origin, which is great news.

I am grateful to all that have prayed, have given rides, "Gary-sat" me, offered words of encouragement, and other support both seen and unseen. Mega-kudos to Lesa who was a real trooper going back all the way to the beginning of the journey starting back on Aug 18, 2023.

An eternal strategy.

I have an eternal hope in Jesus and the salvation He freely gave me. Do you? Don't put it off; no one knows what tomorrow holds without Jesus.

Romans 10 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.  For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
